We always recommend that you use a professional like the Liner
Specialists for any pool repairs or installations. However, you can
remove wrinkles from your pool liner by yourself if the entire liner is
not wrinkled. If your pool is not full of water and there are a few
wrinkles in the lining you want to get rid of, you can smooth out the
wrinkles with a toilet plunger. You are advised not to put the toilet
plunger directly on the wrinkle, but you can put it to the side of it to
remove wrinkles from the pool liner.
To remove wrinkles from
the pool liner where the entire liner is wrinkled, you should have it
done professionally. If the liner has a fold in it, you need to call a
professional. This is because the pool will probably need to be drained
and the pool liner will have to be reset in order to get rid of the
wrinkles. If you try to perform this task on your own, you may end up
doing structural damage to your pool and/or liner.
